February 4, 2014 - Important Announcement:
The First Time Manager course will be retired beginning March 1, 2014. In its place we will be offering The Essentials of Budgeting for Non-Finance Professionals. This course aims to provide a basic understanding of budgets and their importance in allocating resources and guiding the activities in an organization. It helps you identify the characteristics of an effective budget and the key phases of the budgetary planning process. The course then provides a few examples of different types of budgets and the approaches to budgeting. CEUs are not available for this course but it can serve as a training resource for those individuals in your agency who manage budgets.
