January 11, 2012 - New free 1 hour course for managers!
First Time Manager: Understanding a Manager’s Role describes some of the myths about management and their corresponding truths in order to clarify what managers really do. It also points to the typical demands and constraints of a manager's job. Finally, it describes strategies for dealing with common mistakes of first-time managers.
First Time Manager is a general business course and is not WIC specific however it contains many helpful tips for succeeding in a management role. There are no CEUs attached to this course and it will be available through September 30, 2012.
